Sofia Loriashvili, The Contemporary Artist

Born in Ukraine and currently based between Paris and Tbilisi, Sofiya Loriashvili works across photography, painting and experimental visual narratives — using the body, the interior and the printed page as a single continuous stage. Her practice moves between intimate portraiture and broader cultural document: zines, magazines, projections and exhibitions in spaces like Festival d'Arles, the Museum of Warsaw and Guerlain's collective shows. Recurring threads — desire, displacement, tenderness between strangers — let her treat the camera less like an observer and more like a participant in the room.
